Q: I'm having a candy buffet at my wedding. How far in advance should I purchase my candy?
A: We recommend purchasing at least one month in advance of the day that you will need your candy. All of our products have a shelf life of at least 9 months. Your candy will remain fresh if you keep it sealed and stored at room temperature prior to the event. The one month period allows it to order more candy if your initial quantity estimates are off.
Q: I've absolutely got to have my merchandise next week. What do I do?
A: Send us a e-mail, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs, your order takes priority. Orders sent as soon as possible and USPS Priority Mail will ship in 2 business days or less
Q: Does Bayside Candy ship to internationally?
A: Yes. Since 2011 we have been able to ship worldwide to the following locations including but not limited to N. and S. America, Europe, Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Germany, Asia, Australia, Japen. To the Middle East and Africa: Egypt, South Africa, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turky and to United Arab Emirates. Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods and the destination of the receiving country.
The shipping cost does NOT include duties and taxes.
Q: Are your products kosher? U, K or other symbols
A: Some of our products are Kosher. All Kosher products are designated as such. Kosher products either have an U or K certification or other local kosher certifications, which means that they have been reviewed by kosher authorities. They are certified by either the Kashruth Division of the Orthodox Union, by Circle K Authorities or other local kosher agencies represented by their symbol, if we brake the case there will be no Kosher symbol. The symbol only appears on the original case the item is packed in. If the symbol must be present to be acceptable, then please order the case quantity
Q: How should I store my dried fruits and nuts?
A: Freshness for maximum enjoyment of all our dried fruits and nuts can be maintained in a similar manner. We recommend that you store your dried fruits and nuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Kept this way, most dried fruits and nuts can retain their flavor for up to 1 year.
Q:Do I have to pay any sales tax?
A: When shipping outside New York, the collection of sales taxes is not required. Inside New York (where we are located) sales tax is collected on candy, chocolate and yogurt items . Nuts, dried fruits and seeds are not subject to sales tax in New York. Applicable sales taxes will appear in the shopping cart during checkout.
Q: How are the items I purchase packed?
A: If you purchase one pound of an item with a quantity of three, the three pounds will be packaged into one bag.
